Everglades in Winter

Florida’s Everglades is beautiful any time of the year. In what is called winter in southern Florida, when water levels are lower and the cypress trees have lost their leaves there often is more to see. These images were taken just a few days from the Winter Solstice on Loop Rd not far off of the Tamiami Trail in the Big Cypress area and Everglades Holiday Park in Southwest Ranches, Broward Co.
